Bio

I am a fine artist living in Chicago. I recently graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a specialization in oil painting from the American Academy of Art. I am the first person in my mom’s entire family to be born in the states while the rest of our family still resides in México. Hence, the bulk of my work relates to my Mexican heritage. I delve into snapshots of my family taken in México to commemorate those parts of my life. I then focus on hands holding icons from my motherland that I keep with me here in the states.
